We are here. We have arrived at the precipice of our species. From here, we decide what happens; we are the masters of our fate. No longer is humanity tossed around viciously by the powers of Nature, by the whims of the Gods. We have become Gods, we have become Nature. With the ability to create, learn, love, destroy, enjoy, remaster, invent, innovate, and revel in the fruits of our labor. Since we left the forest as slightly evolved monkey-men, we have been searching. Our search has never ended, as our goal is playfully illusive. It tantalizes every man, woman, and child with the notion of something so beautiful, so profound, that we cannot ever fully grasp it. But, we can always come closer and closer to grasping the ultimate beauty which we so desire.

                Perhaps the pursuit is the goal, or the goal doesn’t exist, or maybe we have been making the goal up the entire time. Someone stops and says, “Hey, why haven’t we walked on the Moon yet, let’s go there” or, “What if every human could communicate with each and every other human, anywhere, instantaneously?” or maybe, “What is this whole big thing we call ‘Life’? Is there a reason I am here asking that question? Is the question the answer? Is the answer even real? Am I crazy?” Throughout human evolution, questions have been an underlying theme, the driving force behind our greatest feats, and our lowest falls. Countless times, a young boy has looked up at the stars and wondered what is truly out there; is it what my textbooks, teachers, peers, parents, administrators, government, religious leaders, or even what I think it is? Could it be more than we have ever imagine, something so ridiculously beyond humanities cognitive ability to conceive? Are there beings out there watching, right now, as we toil day to day with our petty grievances? Can they read this while I type it? Can they hear what I think and say, do they see what I do?

                Is there something else out there?

                There must be. There must be something more out there than what it is we now have. What it is I can in no way, shape, or form describe, that would be too contemptuous of me, and too impertinent to whatever it is. Perhaps I think too much, perhaps I dream too much of possibilities. My entire life I’ve been a dreamer, conceiving vast worlds and fairytales to use as an escape from daily life. Every one I’ve ever met has constantly told me that I am wrong to dream, that I should take my head out of the clouds and look for a job, to settle down, get a mortgage, and sit on my couch and watch football for the rest of my life. Well guess what, I never once listened to a single one of them. I am thinker, I am a dreamer, and the failed hopes and dreams of others will not hold me back any longer.

                My dream is simple; I wish to reignite the dreams of everyone, to rekindle humanity’s creative flame, and to bring back the glory that we once had. Our notion of success has become distorted, we believe that money, a job, and security will make us eternally happy; well it won’t. In fact it usually guarantees the complete opposite of that. We mull around day to day concerned with appointments, deadlines, and drama that is needless and childish. Our lives have potential, endless beautiful potential, and we have all prescribed to this predetermined notion of existence, that we must make a living, that we must consume material goods to be happy.

                Well friends, I am here to tell you otherwise, as are many other people who are here on Earth right now. We are the dreamers, the thinkers, the artists and musicians, the crazed ones, the laughers, the ironic, those who look up while every one else is looking down, we can see the future  and we know where we are destined to go. Wake up dear ones, the future is ahead of us, and the past behind. But it is what each and every one of us do in this moment, this present moment, that will echo out into eternity. There is nothing but the present, use it to follow your dreams.
