I think that people that originally came up with the "food pyramid" had good intentions, and did so based on what data they had to work with at the time (I'm thinking it was probably created in the 70's).
Since the "food pyramid" has been created, things have changed a lot... I don't think that some people have or really ever followed the whole food pyramid idea anyway, it was just an idea or an accepted path to keep a person's health in balance. With all information, you are going to have to discern for yourself.. that is what taking responsibility for your decisions is all about.
There are many schools of thought to live by, and in America we have created the Internet (which is now a global database), we now have more information than ever before - And more power to the people of this planet to change this world in amazing ways....
Why dwell on what's been wrong instead of focusing on what's been right?? :) There has also been ALOT OF RIGHT :)
If we were raised in an Iglu at the north pole, off the Grid. we would be much better off. all though look what happend when Wako texas went off grid. and other communities started to learn and copy... they always step in some were in our lives, like a blank computor crap in crap out. Wako tried to wipe out all the preprograming that was installed. and were burned at the stake for it.
about the same time all the free and independant Malisha's avross this country were infiltrated and brought down, and now there all but gone, or totaly controlled. but Ya we are demesticated gov. house pets. loosing all the old way of living with Gia.

Yes, and just about everything you've been told in the history books is wrong, too; and mainstream media/Pravda, well, I don't even have to talk about THAT, and religious half-truths. It's all a problem. We have to educate ourselves independently.
I so agree it's time to start unlearning all of the Erroneous teaching and start to replace them with one's that make sense and feel right.
