The essence of lie is not simply that lying is the opposite of telling the truth, for then it would be easy to find truth by always looking for the opposite of lies in case a lier is always lying. That is not the case. The sobering revelation of lie`s essence is it`s relation to hide and twist something the lier feels important. The essence of lies is fear. A lier is a human of fear and angst.

Truth is not simply a virtue someone chooses in order to achieve or get something – this would be an instrumentalized use of truth fitting in even spiritual capitalist mentality, and there are many spiritual capitalists around in our times. Truth is an ontological revelation – it is the name for acknowledging an unfolding or flow of Being while Being unfolds in, with and under Being. Thruth is the stimulant for conscious beings to see themselves part of Being in order to unfold themselves and let go. Conscious being is self-aware being and being in the flow in, with and under Being that emerged from the Ground of Being. Being thus has come into existence and truth is another name for unfolding in a way Being is supposed to unfold.

And lying is fear of unfolding in ways that are supposed to unfold. An advanced form of fear is fear of fear where not the unknown unfolding of Being generates fear, but alone the thought of fear. Like the old Epiktet said:

People are not disturbed by things, but by the view (or thoughts, greek dogmata) they take of them.

Truth is the free way of unfolding Being and thus the “normal” way, and it is the everlasting stimulant to let self-aware subjects live, grow and thrive. Everlasting fear is an anti-unfolding force and thus destructive. Truth is necessary in ontological regard while fear creates something distorting Being`s intent to unfold freely. The fearful human is never a free one while truth is a force to make free…

This is the backround of lies in our days, and fear and angst are closed relatives to rage and even killing, for it is a strong energy shaking body, mind and nerves. A cabalist entrapped in fear is actually an unfortunate creature…

Here lies the deep reason of empathy – hate and anger is like wanting to extinguish fire with kerosine. Empathy is not a virtue we look for in order to be good people. It is an expression of truth because it is right. It is not found by looking for, but by understanding the essence of lies the cabal is entrapped. It is the natural emenation of understanding and awareness.

Needless to say that even in case you die it is no real problem, but it is a problem in case you have no understanding or hang around in complexes related to lying.
