The goal of evolution, from the material worlds to Paradise itself, is to create creatures that have been perfected in their journey from the lowest levels of existence to a level of likeness to divinity.
“This goal can be achieved in an infinite number of ways, so what you choose to do along your journey is entirely up to you. It matters not to whether you are a carpenter, an astronaut, a healer, a leader, or a follower. What matters, and what concerns are, is working in this universal theater of human progression is your spiritual growth, your progressive understanding of reality beyond your limited material vision, and the acceptance of your position in the whole, as a fundamental piece in the mosaic of creation, with all the benefits and responsibilities this entails.
“Don’t be discouraged by your apparent lack of influence to solve the problems of this world. Don’t be afflicted by your powerlessness in the face of the suffering of your peers. Don’t let the presence of error and evil in this world create a sense of indolence in you. Don’t despair by the seeming sluggishness of your progress, or because of your making the same mistakes over and over again. Universal Father is always with you, as He is within you. Universal Father knows your intention and always sends you His guidance and His inspiration. Each one of you was loved before coming into this world and His love will remain a constant and well beyond your understanding even after all your mistakes, and all your achievements.
“A human father loves his children even before they are born. These children don’t have to do anything to receive the love of their parents. Likewise, human children don’t need rituals, sacrifices, or have conditions to satisfy before receiving the love of God. It is time for you to start realizing the truth of your universal citizenship. You are all children of God and you can come to your Father and establish a deeper relationship with Him. You can converse with Him at anytime. You can bring your problems and your doubts to Him, because He is always waiting for you, and through your Thought Adjuster, He is always present during all moments of your life.
“Start today to enjoy your divine heritage, right there where you are, doing what you do. The realization of this profound truth will elevate all your tasks and activities to the category of divine service and will make you a reflection of the love of the Father to your peers. This is how humans become divine, by accepting their parts in the universe and keeping alive their desires to know more.”

Truth is simple - illusion is complicated. Recognizing our true nature is challenging, but it is interesting that most of the time we think that being in peaceful/blissful state of being is a sign of our individual progress from suffering, which could be mistaken by being in safe and predictable environment. Running away form experiences and from facing the deepest emotions, which always followed ‘circumstances’ is only running away from ‘our true nature’. The deeper we go, the more challenging it becomes, like peeling the 'layers of illusions' - when it brings you to the point 'of knowing nothing' may bring doubts and fear but this is the first stage of finally excepting yourself of 'who you are', by letting go of 'limitations and conditions'.
As Tulku Urgyen explains:
"The stronger and more forceful the disturbing emotions are, the greater the potential for recognizing our original wakefulness...it is in fact that at the very moment we are strongly caught up in thought forms or in the surging waves of an emotion, of anger, for instance, it is much easier to recognize the naked state of awareness. This of cause is not the case when one has trained in a very tranquil, placid state of meditation where there are no thoughts and negative emotions. Then, due to what is called "the soft pleasure", it is actually much more difficult to recognize the true state of non dual mind...Conversely, experiencing great despair, great fear, and intense worry can be a much stronger support for practice."
