The body needs to move waste - if you do not drink enough water, your kidneys clog with bodily exhaust, ya know?
He could be getting energy from the sun.. in which case, I dont know what the byproduct would even look like, or if it would even exist.. sweat? =_=
But, then he has less water in his system.
I think his tale is interesting, as he claims to have seen a deity who gave him a hole in his pallet, where nectar comes through.. (I'm thinking this nectar is recycled urine)
Anyways, I'm sure he doesn't do a whole lot, and he looks like a zombie.
