I just thought I'd share some footage out of general interest from a documentary on chasing severe tropical weather in Australias remote north.
Lightning photography and tropical cyclones.
Thunderstorm and nature photography is a strong Earth passion of mine, it allows me to get in touch with the spectacular moods of Mother Nature and our active tropical weather.
It is fantastic to hit the road and travel to remote places where the only traffic you hear is wildlife, frogs and the rumbles of thunder echoing across the landscape. It is both a passion driven and spiritually driven experience for me and is very healing. :)
I feel really blessed to live in Darwin and the Top End, which is known for some of the most dramatic lightning displays in the world during the wet season months.
