Hi all, I'm pretty new to this as I had experience a spiritual awakening about 3 weeks ago where I had this sudden "light bulb" moment where I got a feeling that I was given a peek into how the universe works. Suddenly everything in my life makes perfect sense, including all the bad experiences etc. It was really profound and I was filled with such joy, wonder and gratitude. It felt like I've been in a dark room for the longest of time and then someone switched on the light and I could see so clearly. The next couple of days, I was still on my "high" but now it seems to have "dimmed down".
I read in many places that people do experience a lull period after they get an episode of awakening/insight/inspiration and that it is a normal thing. I'm experiencing it and to be honest, I'm getting a bit impatient cos the first week after that, I felt a bit disoriented in my thoughts where I wonder if I was going mad. But I know I wasn't. I was expecting more insights to come but then I think I've hit the lull. It's like someone dimmed the light down and it feels as if it might just go off any time. I'm a little saddened by it cos I think a part of me is worried that this awakening would suddenly go way or taken away from me and I'm back to square one. In fact, I'm starting to have doubts about the whole thing, wondering if it's all in my head though there's no way it was just something I made up cos I still remember how clear I was on the night that it happened.
I'm keeping the faith for now and still meditating nightly and hoping that I'll have more insights unfolding soon. I'm wondering if any of you have had the same experience with this "lull" and I want to find out how long did you guys wait before the next "wave of awakening" hit you?
I could do with a bit of advice now on what to expect and what to do etc.

Ya know.. ur lucky/blessed to have had this experience at all!! Myself? I have more doom/gloom nightmares, so, I welcome a lull, lol!!
Meditate frequently and often and you will develop your gifts as well.
I have close contact with AA Michael and Metatron and well as Raphael...When I go fishing, I do as the Native Americans did and ask the fish for their sacrifice to feed my boyfriend and I. No longer than I asked the question, they start biting my line and I real them in. Afterwards, I thank them for their sacrifice with much love. I do this every time I go now and I catch at least 10 catfish each and every time. Most of the time I am all alone and I talk to the Universe, animals, birds, trees and draw the energy of the sun within my crown chakra. You will have headaches as your crown chakra is being opened up and this will cause your blood pressure to rise. I stayed in bed all day Saturday because of this and called my doctor and he told me to take an extra blood pressure pill. My blood pressure has never gotten this high before and the headache was like a migraine. I talk to the angels and ask for their assistance and they respond rapidly. Learn to love and forgive all and yourself and you too will be given these gifts as well. I wear a black cord around my neck every day with a rose quartz (for love) around my neck and it assists me. Call on AA Raphael for healing and AA Michael for protection and strength. Know, trust and believe and they will assist you. Because of free will, we have to ask for their assistance or else they can't intervene unless it is a critical time and it isn't your time to go.. Thanks for sharing! I hope the connection comes back soon but I'm trying to be more relaxed about it and not panic and fuss over. Yes, the fear of loss of connection is there cos when it happened some weeks back, it felt SO GOOD. Like everything makes sense and the feeling of peace and all was wonderful and I don't ever want it to go away. Fingers crossed!
I think void would be another word to describe it cos it feels as if nothing is happening and the memory of the initial awakening seems a bit fuzzy and waning. Though I know in my heart it was real and not just in my head.
It's interesting to hear the process of awakening from everyone cos I'm feeling a bit disoriented and loss as to what to expect or what's coming next. I'm so glad there are people I can relate to and talk to. Thank you all! I just hope my lull/void will be gone soon! But I'm taking it easy now :)

I can relate to what you are saying. You will feel euphoric when you first awaken and so many "ah ha" moments come so rapidly that it is hard to comprehend and so much data floods your body via online, music and television programs...it will slow down a bit and you will start putting all the peices to the puzzle a little slower. Right now, I am having trouble with bad headaches with pressure on my crown chakra that is causing my blood pressure to elevate so high that I have to call my doctor and told to take an extra blood pressure med and lay still in a quiet, dark room. I experienced the worst this past Saturday and was in bed most of the day and it subsided late that evening...I am wondering if others are experiencing these also. I also went to a Church of Later Day Saints yesterday 7/22/12 and received the Book of Mormon and there is so much in this text that I see the Truth in a lot of the things I am seeing. I am having many visions with symbols in them after this awakening. I have received many gifts since the awakening such as clairvoyance, clairaudience, telepathy, signs from the angels and ascended masters, and spirit guides through words and music that draws my attention. I have also been able to control the weather (sounds crazy), but I have experimented with this since it began. We have been having odd lightening storms and news reported a earth quake in the town which I live (Milledgeville, Georgia). We started having these odd storms and I went out and sent intent to protect my home and neighbors from the storms and it subsided after that. In a vision, I saw a vortex open up and I opened my eyes and visually saw the vortex open in the sky. I was sitting outdoors meditating when this happened. I must tell you that I live on Lake Sinclair and beneath this lake there are lay/meridian lines and this will explain the earthquake. The last one here was in 1982 and I lived 30 miles away then and felt it.
I would love to have others feed back on this...am I crazy or what?
