I love coconuts
DRATS....I am deathly allergic to coconuts....I drank coconut milk when I was a child and went into shock....and accidentally ate some cookies with coconut in them years later and went into anaphalactic shock again.....coconut allergies makes a person ever vigilant about reading what is in foods, especially hawaiin foods and sweets....Coconut allergies are as severe as peanut allergies and can kill. Too bad I am allergic, because I liked the taste....but not the effects as it decimated my systems, lol...
Also I have to watch out for coconut oils and such in creams and lotions, and especially sun tan oils...I usually just use baby oil for about everything...safer that way because a lot of times ALL the ingredients in things are not clearly indicated on the labels of things or are is such tiny print that you could miss them. I think that having allergies has made me an awesome reader, lol, and has made me far more aware of what is IN things.....
Coconut oil is good to use to make a hand wash ...I use organic Aloe Vera, Coconut Oil and Water to make my own hand wash which I carry with me daily in a plastic bottle so I can splash a little on my hands and rub together so my hands are clean before eating.
