According to surveys, only 8 percent of Americans successfully achieve their New Year's resolutions so 92% are not kept. 80 percent of those who make New Year resolutions have failed by January 20th. While these are pretty dismal statistics, the good news is that you do have the power to make 2010 the year where you manifest your dreams into reality. You are a natural manifestor that can easily manifest your heart's desires if you consciously shift your old habits and mindset, and adopt a few simple new ways of being. Here are three techniques that will support you in making your 2010 dreams a reality:

1. Choose a love-filled intention
The number one reason why so many New Year's resolutions fail is that people choose resolutions that are based on "shoulds" instead of true heartfelt desires. For instance, the thought "I should lose weight" which is often behind the goal of getting is shape comes from an inner "should" generated by our society, and not from a heart-felt desire to feel good in one's body. It's very difficult to manifest something that you don't truly want at the core of your being, but just think you should change out of fear brought on by societal conditioning. Fear-driven intentions will automatically fail due to the contracted vibration of fear which blocks all manifesting energies whereas a New Year's intention that comes from a place of love is naturally expansive and tends to manifest more easily. Love acts as fuel to propel your desire forwa rd. When you are excited and passionate about what you are focusing on manifesting, your energy automatically vibrates at a higher frequency which in turn magnetizes what you desire to you faster and more effortlessly.

2. Harness the Power of Focus
Your ability to manifest success is directly related to your ability to focus your energies in one direction; the object of your desires. If you scatter your manifesting energies in too many directions, your powerful magnetic manifesting power weakens and lacks the pull necessary to manifest something into reality. Your manifesting energies work much like light. If you refract a beam of light in many directions, the light becomes diffuse and harder to see. Whereas if you focus the same amount of light in one direction, it automatically has more power and can be seen from farther away. Thus by focusing your energies on achieving one goal at a time, you speed up your ability to bring what every you desire into reality.
At the beginning of each New Year, most people make a list of all they want to accomplish in the New Year. While this can be a great exercise, it can cause your energy to be very scattered due to the sheer number of things you want to manifest. So this year, having got the New Year out of the way, let's take on a new way of being that promotes focus. Set one specific goal for each month that you focus all of your manifesting energies toward. A month is one lunar cycle and corresponds to a natural manifesting cycle. If you have one big goal for the year 2010, break it down into smaller sub-goals and assign one to each remaining month. You will be amazed at how much more you will accomplish and bring into reality by simply focusing on one important goal at a time.

3. Use the Synergy of Partnership
Your ability to manifest your heart desires is exponentially higher when you leverage the synergy of others. When you want to manifest something new into your life, the support of like-minded beings can dramatically speed up the process. Someone who believes in your ability to manifest your dreams automatically helps you channel your manifesting energies in the direction of your dreams. The act of someone else believing in your dreams enables you to tune into their higher vibrational energy whenever your energy is pulled away by negative self-talk or doubt. Each time someone reminds you of your dreams and champions you by stating that they know you can manifest your desires, you redirect your manifesting energies back towards your goals. So who in your life would be a good manifesting partner for you? Your spouse? A good friend? Your business partner?
