COLUMBUS, Ohio (CBS Cleveland) – Men who regularly posted photos
of themselves online scored higher on a measure for narcissism and psychopathy.
According to Medical News Today, a study out of Ohio State University has found that men who took “selfies” were more likely to exhibit psychopathic traits when compared to control group.
“That makes sense because psychopathy is characterized by impulsivity. They are going to snap the photos and put them online right away. They want to see themselves. They don’t want to spend time editing,” explains Jesse Fox, lead author of the study.
The study included 800 men between the ages of 18 and 40. The men took an online survey asking questions regarding their photo posting behavior on social media.
The study also found that men who edited their pictures before posting also scored higher on the scales of narcissism and self-objectification.
“It’s not surprising that men who post a lot of selfies and spend more time editing them are more narcissistic, but this is the first time it has actually been confirmed in a study,” says Fox.

Pet Rock: The symbols true meaning isn't relevant in this case, whereas it's obvious that those who stole this symbol put it on almost all of the companies they own. CBS news is one of those you don't have to think long and hard to start to have a feeling it's controlled media. The eye in this context tells me more about mind controlling or overwatching people rather than having ties to it's original purpose as you mention as the Eye of Ra. You even said it was stolen, and it has been used for different purposes now. That is the important message here.

Just because a post is #1 doesn't mean that the people reading it agrees to it or likes it's content.
