  The F.B.I. concluded that a baseball bat was the most used weapon in violent encounters, for 2013. Let's look at priorities as they really are, and not how the United Nations (or the President) would like them to be.

    Well hello Mr Strawman, How are we doing today? ;)

    However, baseball bats are rarely responsible for accidental deaths at homes where there is also a gun present.

    When is the last time You heard about someones kid accidentally getting his head bashed off with the family baseball bat vs. a kid who got his head accidentally blown off by the family gun?

    Which of the two incident types have you heard of the most?

    Is there any of those two incident types you have never heard of?

      Next we'll hear that we need to outlaw knives and forks due to the growing obesity problem in the United States.

      DO YOU REALLY BELIEVE THE MAINSTREAM MEDIA THAT YOU ACUTELY OBSERVE IS THAT ACCURATE WITH THE REAL CAUSES OF DEATH AND DOESN'T HAVE AN AGENDA WITH THE POLITICIANS PUSHING THIS GUN-GRABBING BULLSH!T?

      And which of the items above (utilized by people) have manufacturers and distributors that donate the most money to these politicians AND to the mainstream media that you so acutely observe for your accurate information?

    Since you live in Chicago, maybe you can comment on the wonderful results of Mayor Emmanuel's ban on firearms and the subsequent explosion of crime in your neck of the woods.

    amerika with the rest of the world is getting too weird for me. all those tools, druils and zombies...........unless this story is just another attemp at scarrying populations of our planet into nwo of computer controlled sheeple. Everybody is just freaking crazy , thanks to media like internet, yet I live in Chicago smack in the middle of it and get my share of silly folks stealling snowblowers but no sign of zombies..............this petition is either scare tactic or fear mongering by the same media entity......................

  must be  young people living in la la la land that it can not happen on this soil and not knowing history nor the sociological mindset of a madman tyrants.

  pure retard thinking and completely native of the real life on earth, i can beg they never been in a police state country living by the rules of tyrants, and notice that the only people who do have guns to defend themselves are only the  tyrants and their friends in the country club style of living, while outside those gates live the 90% who are it tin roofs that leak, and in constant fear of maddest of poverty.

    No, but it's fun to watch the state of mind the people are in or what the people look like who are signing such bullsh!t. It's either too many antidepressants or too much focus on ipods and facebook.
