spiritually drunk

I remember being warned by some christians not to be drunk in wine but to be drunk in spirit. I used to think that such concepts were meaningless poetry. Not until I became music!!As usual, I try things litteraly, I have no much interest in poetic meanings so when you send love to me, I waite for an envelope to arrive with some love inside. So I tried an experiment; to get spiritually drunk. As usuall, you only INTENT and it will soon come! I know this appears like unimportant issue but when I recall the money I have saved from otherwise spending in bars, I must write something about it!I am telling you my head was spinning round and round and when the music was turned on, i moved while standing still! It was as though I was occupying the whole room! My bro, who was with me, told me he called me I don't know how many times; I never heard!!! Latter, I found myself crossing a very busy highway with vehicles moving at great speeds. How I got across the road safely, I don't know! When I remember the scene, I worry, I think spiritual drunkardness is as dangerous as the physical one, if not more. Ironically, I learned latter that I was heading towards a cemetry! Was the spirit of dead calling me? I tell you even upto now, I am yet to be convinced that I didn't die! I sometimes beleive that I was knocked down by a car and am now leaving in a parralel universe.Those days I was greatly fond of the idea, NIRVANA, reading that Buddha once sat down under a tree and said I won't get up till all my suffering is over, I decided to meditate for two days without stopping!! I also kept intending to get drunk!! The third day in the morning, I was drunk without taking any alcohol!! It was a fantastic moment! Talk about spiritual drunkardness!!!
