Fellow drummers. I am contacting you to ask for your participation and enthusiasm in an event called 10 Billion Beats. This is a simple idea extended on a global scale.*_10 Billion Beats_* is a Global Intention Experiment that will use drumming to send a wave of positive intention around the world following the sun through the time zones on Sept 18, 2009. This event is for everyone who is crazy enough to think they can change the world and everyone else for whom they want to change it. That includes you. The idea is admittedly huge.This is a grassroots movement–*it is not a commercial event*–it will only work if people like you get excited, participate, and tell others about it.Please circulate this letter, or information about the event with your drum circle, and with everyone that you feel might participate. If you can translate the message for others that will be greatly appreciated. Since we are seeking people in every time zone and every nation around the globe, please extend this invitation across borders far and wide. It will also be very helpful if you register your participation on the site so that we know where and how many people are joining in.
