My favorite man in history has been without any doubt Platon. I was 10, when I had my first read, with 20 I begun to read it in Greek. And even today the platonian weed still has a great impact on my thinking. It has contaminated each corner of mine.

Now, that I look back and try to find a language on that, what is happening right now, I must confess a terrible wound, which has a lot to do with Platon`s weed. I suffer from something, which never is about to heal. Platon is the reason of a basic dichotomy in my mind perceiving world and being in general.

Dichotomy in perception. This is at one hand enlightening. You know, that the obvious is not all. There is more, much more. Paton calls the obvious world a world of shadows. There comes one day enlightment. Then you see more. There is also a world of light exceeding the shadow world. You begin to see the truth. You wonder, how you could live in a shadow world you believed it was true.

At he other hand it is painful too. The delicious weed is not a healer at all, but keeping the wound open and unhealed. You see behind all perceptions other realities. You can never rest. You suspect behind all appearances new and other worlds. Nothing is single for it`s own, but becomes a symbol of something different. Dichotomy is hard at work in all corners of your existence. Platon is the master of dichotomy. In strange cases dichotomy leads to special psychic constellations: schizophrenia. The way from dichotomy in perception to schizophrenia is not unusual. A dichotomic world being enlightening at one hand may lead to sick and schizophrenic perceptions at the othe hand. This is my insight to the platonian wound, and it makes me not very happy.

Actually I don`t know, where all this is going to lead. I only know, that the platonian virus I call weed is more powerful than I ever expected. I will not explain this more deeply, but it`s influence in theology and metaphysical thinking is clear at hand. And so it is with that unholy body-soul dualism in human life we all are suffering from. Our difficulties with sexuality, physicality and gender stuff.

Overcoming Platon is not simple, if not impossible. Once the weed has unfold it`s magical powers, it has become part of ones life. Then dichotomy in thinking are the everlasting glasses influencing any perception. Then comes the day you discover, that any philosophical system and approach is not able to lead you to doubtless truth. Furthermore, you need to discover a further step - accepting, who you are at this very moment. You need to see even your being trapped in whatever systems you can`t flee.

This step is a magical event. There is nothing but you yourself being questioned. Being questioned not what you think and how you see happenings being perceived, but who you are between honesty, illusion, fear and simplicity. You begin to give up preferences. You see the big wound in another light - it is a witness of the senseless-senseful in something you are in we call divine comedy. And the senseless-senseful is another name for being simply human in it`s manyfold attempts to move somewhere.

So let me - as philosopher - say this word again: it is never any philosophy, which is leading to doubtless truth. It is rather willing into our own existence as being human having in mind, that we actually know almost nothing...

And God, by the way, is not a dichotomic contradiction to the world, but woven-in in some strange ways.
