There are a lot of horoscope charts of the U.S.A., just as there are a lot horoscope charts for the N.Y.S.E. (New York Stock Exchange). But everyone agrees that the U.S.A. was born on July 4, 1776. The time is the big debate point.
I picked 3:05 AM from an old American Federation of Astrologers chart; the importance seems to be the conjunction of Mars in Gemini with the Ascendant (Gemini ruling pen and paper and Mars ruling the ego and action. This combination is taking place "in the environment" (which defines the Ascendant)).
Also note that this is the possible time the doors were opened and the hall prepared. Electional astrology calls for calculating charts for weddings and businesses at the time "the door opens," and I view this "time of door opening" more important for time considerations in astrology, as compared to the time of when the signatures or pronouncements take place.
Here's the chart of the United States with the Placidus house system. Note the 2nd house Sun placement; the 2nd house rules money available and financial resources. And note that the Sun is in a square formation with Saturn in the 5th house; it is fair to say that the driving points for the U.S. Revolutionary war was taxation of the colonists and Bank of England currency intervention with imposing non-colonial based central bank currency.
And here's a U.S. chart of the same date, time, and location, but with Regiomontanus houses applied instead. Note that the Sun is now in the U.S. 1st house, which rules expression of grassroots populations and the overall health. Again, this fits since a conflict in the regional health was about to take place (with a grassroots portion of the population involved in the conflict):
I'm sticking with the Placidus house interpretation. I suspect that there is something financial about to take place on the horizon, with possible "testing" of the waters in 2014. And with Pluto transiting over the U.S. Sun, note that Pluto rules banking, insurance, and sources for financing. The Sun position can define overall health or appearance, and this state of health or appearance is very questionable at this time due to the love affair between U.S. citizens and the teleprompter readers at the news agencies and in the White House (who may not be telling the truth!!)
Uranus squaring this placement of the U.S. Sun (with Pluto very close to this U.S. Sun position at the same time) has the potential for energy of revolutionary insights, exposure of facts, and revealing ideas that may be shocking and conflicting with the Plutonian aspects of secrecy and resourcefulness. The NSA spy leak is a classic event to follow this energy conflict of Uranus and Pluto, and there is probably more scandals to follow that will involve these energies on a big scale, possibly involving banking, insurance, or financial resources.
