  Yes, I am of the opinion that we do have definite energy centers associated with our hands.  I wouldn't expect them to be the same as more centered traditional chakras, but quite real, nonetheless.  I think that our hands are among our greatest assets and have possibilities that are mostly unrealized by most of us.  The hands of a skilled cellist, violist, or violinist are quite different from someone who uses their hands only for mundane activity, but the potential for literally impossible (at first) feats of skill is there in all. We have the ability to do things with our hands that are, in fact, quite impossible at first try.  Yet these skills can be earned with enough determined effort to the point that they become easy.  Most hand skills are learned at a level that can be called "muscle-memory" or below our conscious awareness, literally at the deep core of our nervous system.  I think that we both recieve and project energy throughour hands.  Hope my thoughts give you some insight about what you are experiencing.
