Compulsive hoarding is a pattern of behavior that is characterized by the excessive acquisition of and inability or unwillingness to discard large quantities of objects - MONEY, ASSESTS
But money have a theological attraction as well: The belief that money will make you happy or enable you to do things.
That is a drive that Things usually do not possess unless they have been hyped as attractive items by the marketing complex.
Therefore, there's a distinct psychological difference between the addiction to money and the addiction to objects.
Both money and objects are material worship, and can be used in the same context per money addiction. Imelda Marcos reportedly had thousands of pairs of shoes (as well as billions of dollars stored in a Swiss bank account); she was definitely a money addict (who also had an addiction for objects THAT REQUIRED MONEY). Note that this is not the same as equating with a poor person having 30 cats in their household or a guitar player who has fifty guitars in his collection (guitar legend Eric Clapton reportedly auctioned off about fifty guitars to raise money for his alcoholism treatment facility).
Not really. At least not for long. The entire worlds view on resources must change. Resources needs to be in circulation to be of any good. For as long as people thinks that saving is better than using there will ALWAYS be those who manage to save far more than what would be healthy for the economy.
It's more about character than anything. Henry Ford and Sam Walton (the original Walmart owner) paid their people well because they wanted them to buy their products and spread good news of their establishment via word by mouth, as this was the best way to advertise. It was a win-win for everyone.
Wealthy people today "game" the system as opposed to creating a good product or a good idea that benefits society and their bank account. The wealthy people of today look at statistical probabilities of derivatives and which country has lowest overhead, forgetting that the people whose jobs are taken away due to lower overseas cost cannot buy the cheaper product due to lack of funds from not having a job.
It's called money addiction. Why do you think these nutjobs want to create robots capable of having their brain and nervous systems "transferred" to such technology? THEY WANT TO BE GODS (in addition to having castles and Leer jets bigger than anyone else. It's a new and futuristic alternative to "penis" or "breast" enlargement due to material jealousy, as opposed to sexual jealousy).
We are near the end of the Age of Pisces. This kind of obsessive financial madness took place in Rome near the end of the Age of Aries. I'm still waiting for one of the members of Congress to get caught with intimate relationships with life stock, hopefully with their pants down. It may just force changes in the term "doggy style" to be changed into a different critter, such as "I love ewe" instead of "I love you."
hahaha...you really made me laugh...thanks I needed a laugh today....I love ewe.....hahaha
WOW LOL, SUCH WIT LOL
