I was having a conversation with my friends the other night and we got on the subject of night terrors. Both he and I have had them when we we much younger, like in our single digit age days.
We both described this feeling of utter terror and confusion of not being able to understand something and I asked him to draw whatever he could remember. This drew this strange series of circles connected with lines and a large square (I've attached a picture of it if you wish to examine it) he also drew stairs with himself on the bottom not being able to climb them as well as a door he could not open
I'm not sure about the circles, but he was just terrified to even LOOK at it after he drew it. and the stairs I saw as something that reminds me of the steps you take in Hinduism involving reincarnation, tell me if I'm wrong
I found it strange because i remember having night terrors where I saw a series of circles, not connected mind you, just golden rings basically and being terrified that I couldn't "count" them or somehow "the math didn't add up"
My younger brother is 12 now and when little he used to have terrible night terrors, he would sleepwalk, not know where he was and scream. On a hunch I asked him what he saw and he said QUOTE...
"These guys kept trying to get me to count things but the math didn't add up and I was really scared"
WTF. this made my brain explode when I heard it. Is there something in our brains that we are trying to tell ourselves or is there some sort of external force giving us information for a later date
In 1913 a professor in Cambridge received a letter with some of thre most complex math equations of that time, they could not decipher it and as far as I can tell some of the are still so complex they are yet to be deciphered
They were written by a 26 year Indian man named Srīnivāsa Aiyangār Rāmānujam who claimes to have recieved these equations in his dreams from "an indian Godess" and when he woke up wrote these things down
Anyone have any thoughts?
