  speaking in terms of the present, I would state that there is a definate border between dreaming and reality, dreaming I would classify as a fantasy state. I learned this when I was very young as before I slept my creative imagination was intitating and I would almost see something like a "blue computer screen" and I could usually pick what I wanted to dream about, and my dreams became stronger as I confronted my fears or "nightmares" Now as Far as non sleepstate or Reality, its similar to dreamstate but there are physical barriers that prevent my creative imagination from assuming control, almost like a heavy gravity or universal law. Meditation is different as it allows my physical sense to relax, and my mind to become more powerful and closer connected to a higher concousness, almost like halfway in between dreaming and reality. Awakening can mean many things.. On this website awaking is in a spritual sense, and it ties into a certain self awareness, its almost like evolving in a mental sense a pair of wings; that can offer you freedom from your own negative perspective. Also an awakening can be intiated by knowledge of yourself, love, and why were here and a greater existance then the material objects and compulsions that seem to run our society today.. ( you can thank imperialism for that )lol ;)
