Yeah, I've been getting lots of 'glitches' too. Taking long waiting times to get one simple post and unable to get the "Post" button to even work at all to start a new thread. So I've been taking some 'time off'.
It's clear that someone, or some other 'digital interference'... is 'monkeying' with the site's operational systems. It could likely be directly linked to the advertisements. Who's the 'techy guru' around here? Wouldn't it be nice to try the site with no ads at all, for a little while?
Yes adds will slow down the process because it's loading cookies on your computer and also you can get computer viruses from ads you accidentally open one up and viruses download.... all those factors definitely make it rough to navigate the site

The site adverts are at a stage now, where they actually interfere with member participation...That is not a good thing..Also, I realise that Ben needs funds and would depend on voluntary donations alone, if he could....So at least, we do not have to pay to be members here, as yet.....So we have to put up with these loony toon ads and advertisers, all seeking to slow us down and attract our attentions away from our true focus....
Modern corporations behave as if THEY are the only thing that we should be interested in...Their products and services, our every consuming thought form...However, they have simply become modern equivalents of the churches, of centuries past.....Seeking to intrude into every private part, of every person's life....Something maybe that Ben could consider, although I do appreciate his dilemma....
Indeed, Omega... Perhaps just one person/benefactor could even cover all the costs for Ben to 'have a run' at a site without ads... Just one person could easily make a big difference in this case... May it be so...
I can now imagine how smoothely the site would run, and how much more focused and in a better mood everyone would be in... And how much more 'coordinated'/'in-synch' we'd all be... And how many new 'sensitives' it would be welcoming to.

That other contributing factor you mention, is highly salient...Mood of participating members...Now, we have all found ourselves blocked from this site, from time to time...Today, it seems smoother, but there have been whole stretches of time, over the last few weeks, when I simply could not participate on the boards, nor even sign on, without problems....And when I could, my mood was not as it should be...It makes us frustrated and angry, that we are SLOWED, DISTRACTED, TRIFLED WITH, and generally FROZEN on a page......If we later get on, by the time we post, we are ready for action..hehe...!!! ;-) Cheers, Drekx
Agreed... while the site continues to look as it usually does, it has been glitchy as hell. & yes, the adds are becoming even more intrusive. At the same time, while I have little doubt Ben has struggled with how much advertising to allow, he also needs a certain amount of capital to keep the site running. I imagine it's a frustrating dilemma... unfortunately money still plays a huge role in our world. Even for countless numbers of our Awakened brethren & sister.
