LOVE IS STILL PART OF DUALITY

People in the new age seem to think that the only way to escape duality is to completely deny fear and unconditionally accept love. 

Well if you just stay in own part of duality and pretend the other doesn't exist how has duality ended. 

That is like continuously moving around the earths surface so you are always on the opposite side of where the moon is located. You can't claim the moon does not exist because you never see it you move in oppositeness of it. It is of course still is there!

Buddhism is filled with things saying to stay away from both. Influencing your decisions based on all that you see. Our minds as of now are completely immersed in a world which we all know is a sort of virtual reality yet rely on it for our salvation

We can't trust we we see because in truth they are flawed. They only allow us to see what we choose to see. 

Conditioned to see emotions as different in every way. 

Love-Hate

Compassion-Greed

Hope-Fear

When in fact these opposites can help achieve the same nefarious goals

Look no further that the 2008 elections. How did that work out?

    When you say that Obama will "hopefully tackle many issues that need [resolving,]" do you forget that he has already been in office for two years, and these things are barely being talked about. You say that his courage is exemplified by his words, but he has never delivered the promises that these words contain. So then he is a liar?

    Any why is the quote from Bobby Kennedy's eulogy if we are talking about Obama's words and lack of fulfilled promises?

    We can go on lamenting the righteous in a fairy-tale fashion... but these things don't work on me. I like seeing action and then reaction...

    What I am seeing from Obama is no action and a lot of talk. The reaction to this is extremely low approval ratings and a general feeling of mistrust throughout the country.

    What's so great about mandated health care? It would be just as easy to make it free for all, just as in Canada... now we are simply being mandated to pay for insurance, whether or not we are actually sick. It's just another way of getting us to pay constantly for everything-- just as land taxes keep you paying for a house that is supposedly already yours...

    There is actually the high possibility that Obama was elected because someone paid a lot of money to have him brought up to the job-- could be George Soros is Obama's financial backer... I read an interesting article about this, but I don't have a link, I'm sorry.

    Courage, to me, would have been repealing the Patriot Act-- which Obama hasn't done. It would only take one signature, and it would give us back many of our rights... why hasn't he done it, if he truly cares for us?

    This is why Buddhists think that it is important to follow the Middle Way. Of course, the conundrum I find is the fact that the Middle Way often leads one to develop feelings of unconditional love... So is it then duality, when being in the Middle leads me to feelings of being on the side of love? I am confused about this myself!
