i see these type of sports of competition like chicken fights... or dog-fights... they are just ego-boosters, and carrot chasers for the mighty buck...
im guessing advanced civilizations see these type of events, like the average human today sees the gladiator fights (that used to be the norm in ancient Rome)... just primitive...

To my opinion, such eventful sports and games are deliberately created to encourage and expand competition among Earth humans so they remain dumb and ignorant and keep on concentrating on their sports and games goal while the darkside have more ample time for their next negative plan against all of us. Such competition also can grow hatred and jealousy among competitors involved rather than uniting people as alleged by these organisers.
There is no harm for us to be in sport and games if it is to built our physical strength, but we do not need competition, what we need is desire to achieve what we want - free will and not hatred.
To live in higher dimension is not only about love light and compassion, it is also without any differences - no differences of all races, no rich and poor, no high class and low class, and no win or lose and In this issue, NO COMPETITION. All are winners equally. There are no losers.
