Ive heard so many times "listen to your heart" in books, songs, internet, people, stories blah blah blah.
I myself advice others to do as their hearts wish, yet, Im not sure how you do that. I know, its that quiet voice all the way in the back of your head... dammit I've been trying to listen but all I hear is silence. Even here on Ashtar when ive asked for advice, all I get is, follow your heart, great, wonderful.. I cant tell the difference, I dont know what my ego is telling me, I dont know which thoughts are from my head and which are from my heart... I know, next best thing, feeling, emotions, this is the ultimate truth, what if those are a in a big mumbo jumbo, its like theres a fight going on between them and your just there in the midst of it all..
I ask, Is your heart really trying to speak to you? If so, when do we know its truly it?

hey Dripley21 this is my opinion about following/living through the heart. whenever you are experiencing fear and the emotions that are products of fear you are listening to what the ego/mind is telling you, you are listening to your heart when you are in a state of love and in a state of all the emotions that are products of love. In my opinion the hardest thing any individual has to learn in this life experience is how to conciously recognize fear, release our fears and live in love. It takes much more couarage in this life to be loving and peaceful as opposed to being fearful, and angry. I have lived both ways of life and have found peace to be so much more valuable and important i think we hardly even grasp what peace could create. those who truly are awake understand just how valuable and important peace needs to be for humanity. so to sum it up the answer to your question is whenever you feel emotions of love you are living through your heart, and whenever you are feeling emotions of fear you are living through your mind/ ego. hope this helps dripley

it helps a lot, just wish I knew what to do to get out of this state of fear, I have had those incredible moments of love and jesus christ it is the best feeling in the world, one I wish would stay forever, I guess there must be something im doing wrong, I just wish I knew what it was.. thank you so much for the advice, I really appreciate it, Peace :)

yea, the revelation happened to me when a friend said, to me that instead of trying to be so mind directed I should direct myself, my life and my mind with my heart, and I was like

my friend was nice to me and just kind of giggled, anyways, I think Drexx Omega had a good wordy way of putting it that maybe comes from those stellar folkies up their, that of "heart logic" I believe is the wording, ow he will have to show up and correct me if I'm wrong, hehehe, or clarify
I think putting it somehow in words that jive with your mind somehow helps, though this on its own can be tricky, yes, hehehe
