What I know about them:
The Galactic Federation is entirely different from the Galactic Federation of Light. In regards to the Galactic Federation, I'm not aware if their true name is "Galactic Federation" or if it's something entirely different as a means to mask their identities. The Galactic Federation is pretty much in charge with holding peace within our galaxy both in the Spirit world, Astral plane, and this world. Although they do a crumby job at it. Similar to Congress, they can never seem to get anywhere in terms of how they should resolve conflicts as there's too many different viewpoints and agendas.
The Galactic Federation of Light, which I will from here on shorten to GFL, is a rather odd organization. I say odd because I'm unsure what to make of them. The group's real name is not in fact Galactic Federation of Light, but something else entirely of which I am uncertain of. I believe the organization found its origins within the entity Helel prior to an event called The Fall. Their goal is to spread their teachings and ideals of what they presume to be Love and Light. An event occurred a couple years ago where one of the members within their higher tier of members betrayed them outright by leaking information and fled.

As for how I have access, I'm just a really good spy. ;] So in other words I have no real sources you guys can have access to, so everything I say is up to your own interpretation.
My Opinion:
I like the idea of a Galactic Federation, but it seems like it would not be executed correctly as there'd be too much power struggle and the structure of such a federation would not be equally represented among all soul species. As for the GFL, while I do like love and light and that whole package, I disagree with their methods which vary from questionable to despicable.
If you have any questions I'd be happy to answer, or attempt to answer. I'll just clarify that although I've seen most of the things I write down with my eyes, I still have no reason to believe any of it is true because logically it shouldn't be true. Also I'm unsure as to where I should place this discussion.

i too feel that the golden rule 1# of treat others as you would like to be treated is the highest form of respect and love one can give to another.
other sub levels of golden rule 1# might also be:
never lie.
always share if one can, no strings.
respect ones privacy.
always try to be a friend.
these concepts of behavior i try to live by have taught me things about myself, and not just character .

i.m.h.o. for what it is worth, being that i am a earth human (not with our space families i.q.) and my i.q. most likely be not as attune to the truth, with some bias and ways of thinking that this or that is the facts or just hoping it was. church and state comes to mind of what is put down our throats for us to believe this is the truth, (world is flat, man can't fly, etc.etc. etc.)
mankind has always looked for a god for help so as to have hope in our despair trying to live in this planet of predator and prey rules of life on THIS PLANET HELL HOLE, some beliefs we hold, that i am sure our space families do not hold as truth of life, of what, why, when, and how can this miracle of even an ant be it quite a piece of machinery created, i can't say it any other way, due to my lack of words i use.
fact: we are not alone anymore, i just cannot think like our space families for i have no frame of reference only my e.s.p. that seems to help me while i live on this planet and proves itself right so helps me cope being more aware .
the tactics used on the human race to wake up to our senses and e.s.p. is something i do feel is too slow, and has been dragging on for what 30 yrs that our space families have been going around and shutting off many atom bomb silos all over the world, just so our psychopaths WHO ARE in control of us will not kill the planet MORE THAN IT HAS: japan spill is killing the pacific ocean, that is a no brainer.
the saying of:one must go for the head of the snake, to capture or stop its intend, i would think this concept is not beyond our space families comprehension. if i in my i.q. state say things, it is only because of my knowledge or lack of it to help me have hope in them.

And yes, the GFL are mostly of a 5th dimensional status and can lower their vibrations, to visit the outer earth plane, when necessary....just as Earth's Ascended Masters do...
People should try to remember the esoteric laws, such as the law of correspondences...
The 5th plane is a correspondent with the 5th ray of mind....It is upon this plane of mental substance, that the light body of an ascended being may be found...And likewise, our own lightbodies, as we await the evolutionary process to complete our solar studies...(The soul incarnated.)
The many denizens of the astral plane were once historical foes of the GFL....These are the Bellatricians, Draconians and their former Annunaki allies....Those formerly of the Anchara continuum...once described as "dark."
I'm not sure we can find the real name on the internet of all things. It's bothersome to trust certain sources. As for who runs the GFL, I've never bothered to notice because they all look human to me. And by human I mean they look exactly like us, save for their fashion sense.
It's not exactly a hierarchy or ranks. It's "tiers". Everyone has a say in everything but some members have more power in certain cases. I think when I learned this it was compared to the President being able to Veto bills, although none of them can actually do that nor do they even have to run bills.
You seem unsure as to your facts and so you should be, as they are in error....
There is only one Galactic Federation and it is the same as the GFL.....Both terms may be used, the latter being the full title, in Earth English....
If I were to suggest that the USA and United States were different, I'm sure that you would recognise the error....The parallel is exact...
There are star confederations, unions, star federations and star leagues within the wider GFL, but the wider GFL is definitely a federation and not a confederation....

Have you considered the possibility that that piece of information is invalid? The Galactic Federation is different from the GFL. The GF is sort of like the United Nations but for all species and planets. While the GFL is more like PETA. Well not exactly PETA, but I couldn't think of an organization that had good intentions.
Have they claimed that Ascension will occur before in the past and it's never happened? There's very little validity in a site that could very well have manipulation among it. Although you could say the same for me.
