Greetings Dear Ones we are the High Council of Orion. It’s with great joy that we share with you today. Moving in a slightly different direction than the practical nature of our last message. Today's message is the message of Sacred, and the importance of Sacred in your life. Sacred it is a word that often ascribed to religious institutions, and for some there may be some resistance to that word based on their own history.
Some may lovingly rush out and embrace that word, that concept, that feeling, that idea. What were asking you today is to reconnect with the word Sacred in a slightly different way. Perhaps some of you have already connected with the word in this way, but for many this will be a new exciting idea. Historically the word Sacred described places or objects that were outside of oneself.
Which is true, objects can be Sacred and places can be Sacred because of the energy imbued in them, because of how they've been used or what has historically gone on in a particular place. Most of you I’m sure have felt that when you've gone to a beautiful church or synagogue or place of worship. And whether you ascribe to that religious philosophy or not, you feel the palpable energy within the Sacred space, that has come about through generations of common thought, desire and connection in that space.
But today were going to talk to you about the Sacred in your life. Finding that Sacred space for yourself every day and connecting with it. That Sacred space could be a physical place in your life within your home, perhaps even within your office. It's that that place where every day you choose to take those few moments, or those many moments out for yourself.
Where the worries and concerns and thoughts of the everyday world and the people in it, have an opportunity to fall away and give you an opportunity to reconnect with your core essence. Reconnect with your motivation and your desire to be here on the planet at this time, “to fill yourself up” on yet another level.
We ask you to find that Sacred space for yourself, it can be as simple as putting a picture on the wall that reminds you to go within, and as you are going to bed at night you can sit on your bed for a few minutes and connect to the image, drawing you within, finding that Sacred moment for yourself. Perhaps you have a room in your home that you can transform into a Sacred space.
This can be done simply, for Sacred comes from the heart, not from the object and physical surroundings. However the physical surroundings can support you connecting to Sacred in your life. For many of you, Sacred is connected to through nature, being in the mountains or by the ocean, being in the desert, under the beautiful tree in your backyard, or standing in the purity of freshly fallen snow.
Finding the Sacred in your life every day gives your humanity, your human experience a little room for the sigh, for the out breath, for the relaxation. Does it need to take hours? Does it need to be laborious? Doesn't need to be efforting? No. It can be just a few moments in time where you breathe, connect with your heart, connect with nature, whatever is Sacred to you and brings about or evokes that feeling of Sacred.
The feeling that you are more and connected to more. This supports your physical body, it supports your emotional body, it supports your mental processes, it supports your relationships with your loved ones, with your coworkers and even with everyone you interact with. As you find the Sacred moments within your day, you start to connect with the Sacredness of who you are.
As you do that you more easily see it in the world around you, and as we've said before, as you see that light, that Sacredness within others, within experiences within nature within animals and plants. You see it within yourself. When you see it within yourself you can see it without, and you are moving ever closer to living in that state of oneness. We encourage each one of you to go within and find the Sacred within yourself and within your day, each and every day.
