Has anyone else experienced kundalini awakening?

I had mine about 8 years ago...while I was meditating at my b-day :)

It felt like cold breeze...sensation..starting from root chakra..rising to crown chakra..cleansing all chakras on its way to crown...I felt like I was born again, all my senses became more sensitive..

I think picture would help more understand what really happened

As you can see, kundalini energy starts rising from root chakra to crown chakra

    Through Kundalini awakening, it is the combining of Shakti and Shiva that takes you to Samadhi. This state of bliss is beyond the five senses to awareness without restriction. The veils that restrict understanding are lifted so there is no thing between You and God. The state of witnessing becomes the state of Being. The awareness is that you are God. And God is Light and Light is the carrier of Love. We are all God because we are Love in the form of Light. Love is All That Is. All are only one realisation away from knowing this and once achieved, the reality that was once called life is never the same again.

    Yes, in 1984.

    Very powerful!  The Ecstasy lasted for months. i understood everything then.

    It is ascension and were all going through it now - it's the most wonderful feeling in the world - you know that you are one with everything and everything interconnects. It is simply LOVE!

    I have-sometimes in meditation a slight curling up my spine and then floating in space-once it curled very strongly but I freaked a little and it abated-you can go nuts if your mind is not ready
