I was once an atheist and my life was completely miserable. I didnt understand why things were so hard for me and why I was struggling so much to get back on my feet. I needed perspective from a higher vibration, a perspective called enlightenment. I began attending Buddhism teachings of not being affected by negativity in any form, to meditate on withstanding certain emotional responses with negativity. Meditating has helped me gain perspective but something was still missing. I felt like something spiritually was missing from my life and could not figure it out. Now that I can think more clearly on my anti depressant and anti anxiety medications, I feel more like I have control of my life. I remember thinking prayer does nothing but, I prayed and my prayer was answered. I no longer am an atheist, I believe there is a higher power, an ascended master of light, and I have awakened to this truth in happiness.

Well I've already experienced Gods presence and the type of pure love that God has for us, so there's no question in my heart or my mind that God is real. I think that's spirituality 101, that's like the most basic and important aspect of spirituality, the idea that God exists and life is divine in nature. Everything else is just details lol
I never was an atheist, i knew since a little kid that there were other dimensions and spirit beings, I experienced them. I was an agnostic at one point, and kept studying all the religions to find out what God was, and they have some of the truth but there's always something missing. And then I came into new age stuff and real spirituality, and it all clicked...and here we are today, far along the ascension path lol It's great!

Honestly, I was never an Atheist Sarah, but I can understand the sentiment. I do think there are amazing things within us and "out there" as well, and it's something that we will have to discover as time goes on. I had to grow "out of religion" and into spirituality to totally understand that.
Personally, I don't blame people for not believing in something out there, in time we all have to make our own spiritual discoveries when the time is right for us. And it's unique for each person.
