What happened in the universe that we don't know of?
-Fractal drives were invented by J. Refe-Hitz in G.A. 169960 after he studied the patterns of a coffee spill going down the side of a counter.
-The Kiin-Kaan Cult had its origins in the Matsian Revolution of 170981, after several Simt cities were 'purged' by the Gulian government because of massive protests against oppression.
-The Shtarishyian system has more than 3,000 moons total, 2,738 of which are colonized.
-One of the more failed experiments in genetic engineering was the Higinar. The Higinar was designed to be a massive workhorse for easy settlement and construction on the Jeruan planet of Higin's Corner, which is one of the most inhopsitable planets in its galaxy. No creature or robot was able to withstand the pressure, atmosphere and gravity of the planet until the Higinar was created. Once the Higinar was settled to the planet's surface, things went very according to plan, until one of them exhibited a disease of the mind, which caused telepathic control to cease. The disease, it was later found out, resulted from the genetics that allowed it to be on the surface of Higin's Corner without dying. Now, only one city stands completed, Higin's Castle, while independent Higinars roam the planet's surface.
-Lit's End was the first light-speed craft sent out into space by the Righteous Federation in 110705. It remains to be the last, ever since the the Righteous Federation collapsed under corruption and overexpansion. No one knows where it is now; rumors say it has been spotted by the Ginshars, the most distant race that we know of.
-Adar ointment heals many deep wounds rapidly; however, for an unknown reason, it cannot heal any injury on the foot.
-Advances in neutrino weaponry were halted by the Andromedan Alliance after Oris-4 was shattered by a new weapon, the Achei Cannon, during the Kelister Feuds of 189506. Some say pirates still continue research on the weapons; it may explain the disappearance of the Faris Battleship, the largest spacecraft used by the Andromedan Alliance, measuring in size roughly 2.6 astronomical units at its widest.
-The first observation of 'so-and-so' was captured on skip-film in the Roltoy Laboratory on Seventh Day of the Eighth twelth- Revolution in 201306.
See what galactic history you can invent!

Origins of the Universe
Concerns exactly how the universe began. There are several theories posited:
-The universe was created by the first thought of God; from there, there was a chain reaction as thoughts broke down into separate energy forms, the result of which leads to this moment. Termed "thought creationism".
-The universe, in fact, was never created; it always existed, and always will, within the definition of 'time' perceived within this universe. Termed "obsoleticism".
-The universe sprouted out of a banana peel that a being called Wuops Idaizey had stepped on; one of several variations on a theme termed "silly creationism".
-Some feel that trying to define the universe is futile, that the universe is undefinable, since it is constantly changing and includes several sets of laws of physics across the several dimensions. This is called "divide-by-zeroism".

Opitus Helztich, species
This was one of many failed genetic experiments, led by the infamous Opitus Helztich. It is basically a talking penguin, designed for companionship and general annoyance. It worked magnificently, but only one was made, and during a black-hole trial run, it was sucked in and affected the artist Berkeley Breathed through thought-forms. This artist transformed it into the comic series of Earth known as 'Bloom County'.
It runs roughly three feet, two inches, has an unusually large beak, can speak human languages through a modification of the tongue, and has a human-like set of emotions, although not entirely so.
