First Contact preparation?

Is Hollywood trying to prepare people for first contact? i'm talking about the movies that is coming up this year. Movies for children, teenagers and adult, all about Aliens contact.KnowingRace to witch mountain2012Monsters and AliensStar Trek - The movieWall-e(2008)and much more...I know that is normal those movies but alot of them in the same year when we are waiting for the first contact? what do u think?

    Hollywood for a while has purposely been showing a lot of ET movies, althjough mostly showing them in a negative and fearful light. This has been for a reason - as when they were going down the "faked alien invasion" scenario it was going to be much easier to get the mass public buy in.
