    It's just a "Title" given by men of God. If you wrote a book that is inspirational meant for mankind what "Title" would you give it? Remember this one thing each letter represents the contents of the of God's Holy word. H(He) O(Only) L(loves) Y(You)....B(Basic) I(Instructions) B(Before) L(Leaving) E(Earth) expect the unexpected on the day of His Glorious return. I will not get into theological discussions of religion and on the bases of interpretations! I believe in the infallible word of God and that is my choice. I am not forcing my beliefs on anyone or even you, so what you believe in is your choice. Like the old saying said, "You made your bed so lay in it". What ever comes your way you and only you will be responsible for that decision. As the word of God tells us, "Choose you this day whom you shall serve". God Bless you and thank you for your reply.

      Interesting way to see other peoples believes, you don`t say it straight out but you make it sound like you have the "right" faith and others who don`t think like you, they "gotta make their bed and lay in it".  That phrase sounds so condescending in this context. And when you say; "What ever comes your way you and only you will be responsible for that decision" makes me just wanna say that back to you!

        Exactly right! We all, including myself, choose our paths with choices that some of them will be wrong some of them right. Those and included me will live and died on how we perceive our beliefs. What I said is truth, "We make our own beds (decisions) and we have to lay in it (our choices). I never once stated that I was right and everyone else was wrong. I only stated that I believe in Jesus the Son of God as my Lord and savior who is coming to take those that believe to an ever lasting home. So if I am wrong who have I hurt? None but me! I live and die with my choice and that is how others with their beliefs will do as well. So again we have those who want to attack those who live in faith of Jesus Christ...that is my choice and I don't throw it at anyone. If anyone wants to know why I believe the way I do then let them ask and then I will tell them of what Jesus has done for me. But I will not push them to believing in what I do but, allow them search for themselves in the Word of God. It is called freewill not a power drill. God Bless you and I do appreciate your reply. Just don't be condescending it reflects on others as well as on me.

  I went through this exercise a few years ago myself but did not arrive at the conclusion that I expected.  There are literally hundreds of contradictions/inaccuracies in the bible. Hundreds.  Just google bible and contradictions.  I stopped confirming after the first 12, didn't need to see anymore.  I have 100% faith in God but 0% in the bible because of this.  God did not write the bible, man did and man omitted many other books from the bible.  That is an undeniable fact and in many cases the books were written decades if not centuries after that person was dead! So if there are so many inaccuracies in the bible, how in the world are we to know what really is accurate?  I would have to believe that many if not most of the stuff in the bible are true and really happened but just cannot swallow (pun intended) that some guy named Jonah survived in the belly of a whale for 3 days or that Noah actually collected 2 animals of every kind.  There are literally millions of species.  C'mon.  I believe there was a great flood but not the way it is described in the bibile.  Another part of the bible that blew my mind (I don't remember which book contains this info) but essentially there are only 74 generations between Jesus and Adam & Eve.  Hell we have fossil records proving that man existed WAY before the time period when God supposedly created man.  I honor everybody's belief and if the bible works for you, that is great, it just no longer works for me.  Amen.

    Thank you for your reply. Yes everyone has their own values, beliefs and understanding and in doing so they must understand that it's by their choice that they will have to live by, even if they are right or wrong. God Bless you and again thanks.
