  Good evening David, I am glad you had a good day.  Mine was a bit difficult.  Today is Mother's Day here in the US and I found myself missing my mother so much that I was choking back tears all day, and not doing that very well.  It is so hard when people who mean everything to you passes away.  I know that she is with me in spirit but I just wish I could hug her and tell her how much I love her.  I am sure she is seeing me writing this now and giving me a spirit hug....Tomorrow will be better, the holidays sometimes get me down, but I am giving blessings that I was so fortunate to have her for my mother.

  As for your question about meditating and getting clearer messages, I think it is a very individual thing.  When I try really hard to clear my mind to meditate I have a hard time....I find that if I just go outside and sit under a tree, or walk on the beach and just breath and enjoy and give thanks for nature and its' splendor, that is when messages and revelations come for me.  It I try very hard to concentrate on keeping my mind blank and open and not having thoughts keep popping up, it seems to block me, but if I just wander in nature with nothing on my mind I do much better.  In the stillness of nature I am more open to what the universe wants to share with me.  I live near the ocean, a river, and a lake all around me.  Just sitting on the beach listening to the birds and waves coming in helps me immeasurably as does walking in the woods and hearing the sounds of cicadas  and animals scurrying and birds singing, or walking along the river watching the people fishing does it for me.  All of a sudden everything becomes so clear.
