I believe when males sing, or attempt to sing in the female voice, it generates a deeper sense of empathy to the opposite sex. We do not do this often, either sex, and so much of the war of sexes comes from not identifying personally as they and making a judgement without living any version of the experience. Singing in the female voice for a male is really difficult, and for me it gives me a new respect for how many complicated and difficult things women do naturally and with ease.
