  I've been doing some more research into plasma and magnetics, and this is one of the things that I found.  I'm sure that it relates, so if you don't agree... oops on my part.  I just find this stuff totally fascinating and worth more investigation.

  "Only electric currents produce magnetic fields."  Its easy for me to imagine this idea when I think about electromagnets...  But when I think of the magnets on my refrigerator, this idea trips me up.  I have to do some more research into magnets.

  You're welcome hellen, anytime.  However, there are at least 2 other parts according to the video.  I'm not sure if it has the same name with part 1, part 2, and part 3 in the title... or if they have different titles altogether.  Thunderbolts of the Gods is the one I'm watching right now.

  Our solar system has changed dramatically throughout Human history.  The scarring isn't confined to Mars alone.  It happens when the planets or other large bodies come close enough to produce an electrical discharge.  This 15 minute segment does not explain it in its entirety.  Here is the full video:
