I thought that the image had some archetypal connotations.
"Flames are a common alchemical symbol. I think in this context there is also the element of the flaming sacred heart of Christian symbolism. Flames denoting it as sacred. The sacred heart signifies the redeeming love of God as Christ the redeemer, who sacrifices self for others as the source of illumination and happiness. The flames signaling literally 'illumination'."
The Kabbalistic thread fits with my understanding. And I see a possible Jesuit thread too.
It seems that the image is relevant to the LOGOS in its roots.

Why would someone use this symbol?
I notice the "flames" and "small human" figure at its base. What are the implications of that?

The symbol is confusing as it means both Yaweh and Jesus...It is a combination of both. YHSHVH is the Creator and JHShVH (pronounced Yeh-hesh-oo-ah), means Jesus the Symbol is listed as JHShVH un the website provided.
One it is a manipulation by Yaweh to garner followers. The second is that it means that we are all god. Yaweh means god and Jeheshua means son of god. Combined they fit the Christian concept of Jesus is god. To understand that we are all a part of god it serves to amplify that we are all a part of Creation itself and therefore worthy of honor.
