It's so easy to say I love somebody but do you truly mean it? I become leery of people who abuse the word and I know it must be understood in context. I am still not sure if I really love someone because for me it would mean giving everything about me to that person including laying my life down and I am not sure I am ready for that yet. So whats your opinion.

I have read the others replys here and they all seem very valid,
So I will give you my outlook but only thru my personal life experiences,When I got married I was not sure ,to tell, the truth what love is really,But I ended up wrapping my whole life in this person .
We have two beautiful girls that are now married and on their own,My ex and I have not been together since my youngest was six years old.A devorce was probably the best ,one could ask for, as niether of us were pissed at the other.I raise my youngest and my ex raised my oldest.After 15 years of marriage we just grew apart,If she needed help today I would do my best to help her.She is remarried and doing fine so that does not happen,it is a love for someone that went from persoanal to one of thinking of her as a sister.
So you might say I have loved and lost if the experience ended there but it did not because it helped me to find a deeper love that many no nothing about.Would I do it again,yes if it will teach me more how to love ,It really depends on each ones outlook on life and how they see their world.For me it was very much a lesson that has brought me to an open-ness of what love can and should be.
It is a sharing of your world with another where strings should not be attached.always allowing the other to be what they are and them letting you be who you are.A growing proccess that aids each other instead of tying one or the other down.
I would not change a thing in my life at this point because it has lead me to where I can end each message with Love Bob because that is what I feel for those in my life now.Athough when I did that here with male and female I was ready for some to react which has not happened and I'm glad because it allows me to be what I am.Although hetterasexual I can still love the males in my life with brotherly love .
I know within myself that the next step for me is to see only the liight or spirit of an individual ,at which time I'm working on ,but still have a soft spot for those female. Love Bob
Love is defined differently by everybody on this earth
what one see's as love another may see as prison here.
Ive learnt that love is many things that (mostly) us humans on earth dont aspire to do within.
We as a collective mostly seem too wrapped up in *ego*/drama tendancies and try to change the outside (person, people place things) instead of changing our own frequency within to love.
love is what we are made of; and its the essence of who we are, love is everything,
love is without blame / judgement... love IS !

Love is not a feeling ,it is an emotion only one of two really.
Love and fear ,perhaps the most important 10 minutes of any video i ever seen are the 10 minutes from 1:47:00 to 1:57:00 minutes or so in this video .it shows how very important this love vibration is in relation to your D.N.A.

i think when your in love your not in love with any one or thing maybe your in love with the vibration you feel when in this love.i do not have or will have a lover myself.but this dose not mean i can not be in love.
when i tell some one i love them i mean i care about them deeply and agree that they make me feel loved ,i do not tell people i love them just cuz it sounds cool most folks i know hate it when i tell them i love them cuz they will not say it back even though i know they love me too
