Do the imagination of eternal life in a paradise bring nostalgia?

First let me talk about some two ways of imagining places and moments. It works for both cases. There is a big difference between imagining what andromeda looks like while you are on earth and imagining yourself as though your in andromed already. I call the later ASSUMING ANDROMEDA. The former is the ordinary IMAGINATION.Do the following exersise the whole night if possible. ASSUME andromeda and IMAGINE the earth. After one hour or so, you might find yourself longing for earth!! Your mind might MOMENTARILY forget that you are still on earth!!Now I think many miss to point of joy in paradise for they IMAGINE paradise but not ASSUME paradise. When you do the former, it might as well look terribly boring or even impossible. When you do the latter, you will for instance assume leaving in golden cities, dancing with angels or doing everything that you like doing. You might feel an inexpressible joy and ecstasy which suprisingly turns into a faint sadness as you see the 'present' as though past, past, past, past... If you have felt this inexpressible feeling somehow sweet somehow sad, I call it LONGING FOR THE PRESENT MOMENT. It is a RIVERSE NOSTALGIC FEELING. You forget the troubles of the present so much that you map them into past past past, far far far... That you forget how bad they were as you ASSUME DANCING ANGELS and you begine even long for them and pity those moments that never will come back even for the whole eternity. I guess this might be one reason many think of forgeting the past and REINCARNATING. As for me, I can find more joy in an everlasting longing for the present moment that comming back to such a planet!One reason we sometime think that AFTERLIFE is impossible is because we tend to IMAGINE it without trying to ASSUME it. When we try to IMAGINE, we ASSUME the present and only see this life as the only possibility. When we try to ASSUME afterlife, we find that we cannot ASSUME death and we begine seeing as though DEATH is impossible.
