My first thought when seeing this was that it was an unmanned small drone with lights on it. Don't know why it would be hovering over a pool though, so probably not that....It is weird for sure and I can honestly say that I am glad it was not over my pool....I would be hiding under the bed or in my closet...sometimes I am more chicken than curious, lol...but this is so cool....it is a mystery...
I think it's a "space critter," or a surveillance mechanism taking samples. It either left a bad taste in its mouth or possibly has curious aliens wondering what the difference is between a toilet and swimming pool, unless chlorine is present.
