DIAMOND LIGHT

DIAMOND LIGHT

The rock

washed down the river

tossed scraped evaporated

birds find landing in the movement

swept by fierce entanglement

caught by locked in nooks crannies

it changes elements to flee fire

soaks water for replenished improvement

seasons unpleasant toss and roll

moss takes up home a new growth

pending stability seeks the green of earth

wedging a well worn fixed energy

rain hail shine gives it extra tints

a blanket devours it's hidden shine

it sways with new circumstance

desert cleansing dries green to wither

no rhyme in this rock

blind journeys keep it moving

stripe streams give it new life

crumbling shape shifting strife

weather of strife leaves

gentle water dreams

calmness shatters wastage

a past gravitation drops needs

moss a non needed past toss

dissolving far gone reasons

pulsations anew take up new life

new dawns awakened new seasons

rhymes arrive show well worn gravity

soothe this rock on wave

crackings chipped in past falls

shed a past tense slave

journey to the core

takes the highs and falls

eventually showing inside

the glisten of an awe

a rock will come and go

reach for known insight

kicked tainted broken down

just to find it's ...

diamond light

  • I really love this....I am envisioning all the "weathering" that a rock takes over the course of its' existence and it is so much like of the life experiences that humans go through from birth to death when you think about it.  All sorts of adversity as well as good things happen too that bend and shape and form a person's beliefs and personality and soul.  Life can turn a person into a loved filled person and make their souls shine like a diamond too...or it can seem to wear a person down, making them feel worn out and discouraged; but these people often persevere just like the rocks, they keep going with the tide of where their life experiences take them, and they can create their life in whatever way they wish, or they can be swept downstream and crash on the "rocks" in life...there is no predicting, only to continue on battered but not completely broken, to rise up and shine despite all the experiences that have born down on them....

I really like your writing style it called so many thoughts to my mind and created so many pictures in my mind.  Thank you for sharing this, I really like it.

    • Thank you . and yes - it is about life xxxx

"Thank you AE.✨ It was a great team effort for this story!
Christopher Lee as Dracula was scary, some of those really old movies are much scarier than modern ones."

"I love that look...Similar to the Hammer horror movies of the 60s/70s.. Like; "Dracula, Prince of Darkness," (1965) with the blood dripping off the titles....Lovely stuff...🩸🩸🩸🩸🩸🩸🩸...Great job for the Ripper story too..
