Coincidence?

The term 'coincidence' is to materialists as the term 'abrakadabra' is to magicians. In both cases, it is used to explain everything and to understand nothing. Today, I talked of the devil and voila! It came. Guess what? It was a coincidence!Let us check if this explanation has any merits. The question that we ask is, why did it rain just immediately I waved the magic wand? The answer: 'it was a coincidence' is a complete red herring! It is an attempt to answer a 'why' question with a 'when' answer! 'Coincidence' is not an answere. It is a question. The coincidence is coined from 'coincide' which means to happen at the same time. The materialist reify this verb into a noun and us it to explain everything! That is the question we are asking; why did the waving of magic wand coincide with the rain? The 'coincidence' is just a roundabout way pausing the question as its own answer!In many cases we wave an hand with 'coincidence' non explanation, the correct answer should be we don't actually freaking know why the two events happened at a coincidence. Saying it happened DUE to coincidence is just a way of repackaging ignorance in the envelope of knowledge. Our lack of knowledge about true causes is often due to bewildering complexity of the universe.

I was just trying to fill in the blank space of co-??. But I do remember writting lots about something closely similar to what you are saying. The best one recently is a blog titled 'teleological evolution an time travel'. Perharps 'co-' would be 'cosmic evolution'. I have also once talked of bidirectional causality and Wheeler-Feynman absorber theory of radiation.

The universe is said to blink on and off very rapidly. The tiny period of wake is quantum of time, the chronos, also called Planck's time. Yes, this blinking is one such a sychronising factor.

Yes, better to say 'i don't know' and then look for explanation. Yes you are right about past influencing the causes at the present. Mine more of try to answer why several events might be happening sychronously. I suspect there is signal synchronising events. Still past influences the out come. We can weave together the past factor and the present factor.

  Don´t forget the future...it influences the present a lot... An example would be that all rivers run to the sea....so even though a river may meander left and right the overall direction is guided by the goal. Since our goal is ascension then many people we meet and things that happen are to lead us to this goal. You wrote on this...what did you call it co-??? The heartbeat of the universe gives the spark..or the sync. Does the universe blink on and off several times a second??????..

The set of all events happening simultaneously has a common cause in the universe: a superluminal, all pervading, coherent signal that causes all of them at that moment!

  sounds true......but I would say that the present is a combination of the causes of the past and the causes of the future coming together and the heartbeat is like the spark..

Yes, we should seek to understand true CAUSES. Coincidence is not a cause. Coincidence is just the act of saying 'at the same time'. When you ask why the rain felt just at that moment, the answere, 'coincidence' is answering WHEN the two events happened.

  Luck is another word like this, there are lots of them. A superficial description ..not an explanation of causes. It gives the illusion of understanding....perhaps better to say ´´ I don´t know.´´

might have been sync....could have been karma....possibly it was the subconscious becoming conscious....or the intervention of angels....what about divine grace.....lots of possibilities...
