Spiritual Forum

Hello, this is my first time contributing a post, and it is one which requires some feed back.

I am currently in a junior college and was required to write a paper on a topic of my choice. The premise of the assignment is that we must have a topic chosen (which is where all of your ideas are greatly appreciated), and cite a few sources. I am in an area where social cultural-ism, and a big mess of corrupt family, and political history run through the genes of the people here. It is my endeavor with this assignment that I might make a few of my class members, whomever they may be, begin to consider their own enlightenment. The assignment, research and all, must be presented orally to the class. I have a gift with language and communication, and I'm very confident in my ability to portray a convicting message. 

I have never been on a site like this, but i feel it is very right. I love some of the discussions taking place here, and am extremely grateful that this was brought to me. I have the utmost certainty that I will receive some positive feedback from you beautiful beings who endeavor in the same light as I. To be clear on the purpose of this post: I am seeking topic ideas or some inspiring sources for this paper. Keep in mind my aim and goal is to present, to a very unawakened class, a subject that may bring about enlightenment for them. Even if just a few pay homage to the thoughts presented I will be so grateful.
