Can thougths affect chemical reactions?

Lets ask this question first considering the chemical reactions in the brain itself. No doubt, thinking are very similar to breathing. One of the manner in which they are similar is in the fact that I can ammuse myself that I am breathing voluntarily but then once I get bussy focusing on more sophisticated things, my 'assistant' somehow takes over the task and I can get to an extend that I nolonger even aware that I am breathing at all! Who is the breather? The 'I' or some automatic machines within me? Its a little bit of both. Same applies to thinking.Of course its the 'I' that exersises the FREEWILL. So does the chemical reactions in 'my' brain causes the FREEWILLINGLY thinking 'I' or does the freewilling thinking 'I' causes chemicals to react in 'my' brain?No doubt, in many natural cases, the causality is BIDIRECTIONAL. If A cause B, then this directly implies some connection between A and B that makes it possible for B to cause A. This connection is not LOGICAL therefore the inference; if A causes B, then B causes A is not a logical inference but can be an INTUITIVE INFERENCE. Let us say that chemical reactions gives rise to the innerly felt, freewillingly thinking 'I'. Then the bidirectional causality implies that the freewillingly thinking 'I' can cause chemicals to react!!!So whats the connection between the freewillingly thinking 'I' and chemical reactions? Surely, it must be a bizzare connection. A connection that can't terminate at the boundery of your own skull! Infact, it cannot diminish with distance. So perharps all the chemical reactions in the cosmos are the result of beings thinking throughout the cosmos!Now, Quantum mechanics, which explains chemical reactions, says that the mere awareness of an electron forces it to deside its state. A phenomenon called the 'colapse of wave function' this migth force an electron in andromeda to begine spinning INSTANTANEOUSLY!!
