The Cailleach

is a Goddess that would destroy your predilections and one faceted belief system, especially in these times of atheism, to awaken you but you probably wouldn't want to devote to Her until you understood, or faithfully believed, that God/Creator has a realm called the

Realm Of The Gods/Goddesses

You can look this up in Hindu Scripture- These are aspects of the Creator made manifest, in spirit dimensions, so that the finite human mind can make contact with Him/Her.

Each of these Gods/Goddesses have different special aspects that can aid our spiritual growth.

When evoking Mother Mary she represents Divine Mother, the Divine Love of mother to child.

Zeus can be invoked by calling His name-He represents the Divine as Father.

Saraswati-is an Hindu Goddess that students and musicians call on to help in comprehension of lessons.

The list goes on to Buddhism also

Obviously it's all faith-who discovered these Gods/Goddesses? People who searched with heart felt intent?

Some say it is idol worship and in a way it is-in the old days people made animal sacrifices to them, no need to you will give at a different level ,your energy in devotion or deeds(we live in a world of exchange)-and when people succumbed to human sacrifices the karmic lessons to that cult or race were devastating-a no no -Look what happened to the Mexican and North American peoples.  Same happened to the Irish offering babies to Cailleach for power.

If you prefer to play it safe and pray to God/Creator He will also guide you and you will be 'tested' -exchange

  • Is, Is.
    This is not is.
  • My point is ; Saraswati for instance has Divine aspects and when evoked can help with comprehension-try reading you favorite scripture after evoking Her.

  • Personally ive never had a problem with this, even when I was studying wicca I still had an inescapable notion there was a single creator deity (ie, somebody at the "top" who was always there).

The only kind of "belief systems" I have are actually a product of what I know to be true, spiritual laws and such. Principals that are unshakable, untransmutable, and can be applied and used again and again. But that's more of a Science than a spirituality, since a science is both a system of beliefs and something that can be practically used.

More or less I consider the old Gods/Goddesses to actually be more like We are, they're just very large and powerful souls. I only consider the positively aligned non-ego gods/goddesses to be worthy of those titles as well.

The neutral and negatively aligned ones are just unascended creatures with the same motivations as the twisted human being, who just happen to be stronger and more capable (traits which are always relative). I pretend they don't exist and I do not generally refer to them by name either.

    • Actually Kali is pretty cool, has a very high vibration (Ascended Master / Saint type).

She just cuts through the bs and is very direct, she's all about fast movement and addressing what needs to be addressed. She gets a bad reputation for that I guess. Ive worked with her frequently before.

The color I associate with her is a kind of Purple color, though not a gentle purple.

Call on her 3 times and she will be there.

    • I believe the Cailleach and The Hindu Kali are dark manifestations of the Earth Mother.

It sounds bizarre but I suppose Nostradamus had to make sense of the 20th century somehow."
