Black shadow like being???

Hey people i wanted to ask if anyone knew something about a black shadow like being? I saw it about 10 years ago (i think) and this is the first time ive really spoken out about it (and i was not dreaming). So I was like 5 or 4 and i got introu ble for something so i was sent to my room and was cryin and stuff what little kids do and all of a sudden I Look out the window and i see this scary lookin pitch black being with big white eyes and im thinkin to my self what the ****!!!! So i run out of my room tellin my mom and she thinks im tryin to get out of being on "timeout". so i go back into my room scared and look back at the window and theirs nothing there.... I have'nt really thought of what it would be till now so If anyone knows anything or can just give an opinion ill be glad to listen or duh read :)
