  If you are using a browser with a script blocker, that COULD be the problem.
  If you are using Firefox with NoScript, Right click a blank spot on the page, then click NoScript and "allow all this page".
  You might also try http://64.62.227.18 which is their IP address (at least right now). Otherwise, I have no suggestions.

      sounds like something is definetly going down on your island.  Are they known to block internet at all there?
