Pluto is (currently) the farthest Sun-orbiting celestial body in our Solar System. Pluto is half the size of Mercury, and qualifies as a "planetoid" (while other sources reportedly call it a "plutoid"). Planetoid is the same planet-size classification for Chiron also (and Chiron is located between the planets Uranus and Saturn). Interestingly, Pluto may have similar energies to Chiron that deal with the unknown or unknown events.

Pluto has five moons. The first one was discovered by an astronomer who wanted to name the satellite "Sherrie," after his first wife. After much argument, it was named Charon (who is the mythological figure responsible for the movement of the boat downstream into the underworld of Hades).

Pluto rules Scorpio, and Scorpio energies rule transformation that takes place (and this is often through crisis). Pluto can represent the analyst or researcher at best, and also the underworld gangster at worst. For those with Pluto strong in their charts, Pluto may represent a "line in the sand" that may occasionally be crossed over by such individuals if survival is necessary. This "crossing over the line" can also result in crisis leading to "downfall," especially if abuse of power is present and well-pronounced.

Also note that Pluto can represent "obsessions." Pluto transiting one's 3rd house ("communications, pen-and-paper, short distance travels of inquiry") can define an obsession with needing to communicate with others, and this may bring on crisis if there is abuse via "crossing over the line" (i.e. "Remember The Maine" was a fraudulent false flag placed in U.S. newspapers (i.e. "yellow journalism") intended to force the U.S. in a war. This took place during a 19th century Pluto transit of the "communications sign" of Gemini).   

This does not mean that all born with a strong Pluto (nearly directly above and near the MC (Midheaven)) will be abusive. All it means is that there will be an inner sense of power with a strong Pluto that one must respect with this placement due to potential for abuse.

Examples of individuals with strong Pluto placements include Richard Nixon, Jesus of Nazareth (Don Jacobs' chart), David Berkowitz ("Son of Sam" serial murderer), and Vladimir Putin. 

Pluto

The United States

The United States has Pluto transiting the natal 8th house, and Pluto entered the 8th house in 2015. The natal U.S. chart has Pluto in the 8th house at 27 degrees Capricorn 33 minutes. The U.S.A. will get it's Pluto Return in 2022, and there should be important 8th house events leading up to this event (since the 8th house rules Scorpio, and thus the 8th house is often called "the house of Pluto"). Pluto leaves the U.S. 8th house in 2026. 

The 8th house represents insurance, banking for the elite, secret activities of the elite, public pension funds, tax-and- spend policies that are "behind the scenes and headlines," and scandals brought forth that may finally settle any crisis or tension that is "behind the scenes and headlines." 

The entry of Pluto into the U.S. 8th house took place last year, and this occurred while transiting 2015 Neptune (in the U.S. 10th house) was forming a square to the natal U.S.A. Uranus (in the U.S. 12th house). I define this as "a scandal or deception affecting one's reputation" (transiting Neptune in the 10th house) involving a "conflict" (Square) over the use of "U.S. secretive powers or intelligence groups" (natal Uranus in the 12th house).

Interpretation? The Neptune Square Uranus transit may be a "kick-off" for increased potential for transformation and /or crisis in 8th house areas pertaining to secret areas of the U.S. government. This may define crisis with  the Federal Reserve, as this is an organization that is very symbolic of the Pluto placement in the U.S. 8th house (and the 8th house itself). The Fed is also highly secretive and supposedly functions as a "government agency" (when in fact the Fed is a private corporation defined as a financial cartel, and this cartel is owned and operated by several international banks).

One 8th house area that may get affected with this Scorpio aspect of transformation / crisis (with Pluto transiting it's "natural home") is secret activities of the elite. But note that there is also possible transformation and / or crisis regarding 8th house areas such as "financial institutions, public pension funds, tax-and-spend policies, financial storage policies, insurance, and national scandals pertaining to 8th house areas (i.e. finance, sex, the occult, secret activities)."

The United Nations

The United Nations has Pluto transiting the 10th house. The U.N. horoscope has Capricorn as the majority sign of it's natal 10th house. The 10th house is ruled by Capricorn, and it represents "the ruling party, the president, business trends and changes, general responsibility, career, and the reputation pertaining to one's professional status or standing before others" (and it's interesting to note that the U.S. currently has deceptive Neptune transiting it's 10th house. No wonder the U.S. reputation has suffered badly from an international perspective).

The United Nations may undergo transformation and / or crisis in terms of its reputation and standing before others. Pluto can also represent agents of change as well as crisis, but it may be difficult to implement such agents if the entity is designed to keep out such agents of change due to "obsession with the business."

The Opposition ("trade-offs, hard choices (usually financial)")between transiting Pluto in the 10th house with the natal United Nations Mars / Saturn conjunction in the 4th house ("death, to stop working, a ceasing of work or activity, accident ") takes place in 2021. This may represent a time of great change, along with possible crisis due to sudden changes that may manifest over the next few years.

 It is probable that transiting Pluto in the 10th house may define an obsession with one's responsibilities (despite the fact that some of these responsibilities may unfortunately define the inclusion of abuses or lies (i.e. "stepping over the line")) that may bring on crisis, and this crisis may have a negative impact on the reputation unless needed change is made.

Hence, there is a possibility that the United Nations may suffer from reputation issues with the Pluto transit of the 10th house, and like the United States, the U.N. may undergo tremendous transformation (possibly through crisis) as the time-frame of 2021 - 2022 approaches. There is the possibility of severe crisis with the reputation of the entity with this transit, or the transformation into a new entity as a result of this transit (as a result of crisis).

I actually believe that we in the U.S. (and many abroad) are going to live through some very exciting and very dangerous times from both a political and social sense. And yes, there is also going to be some serious financial debacles and serious scandals coming up, along with possible violence as a result of such scandals (especially pertaining to secretive areas of power on an international and financial basis).
