awareness and ether

Contemporary scientists tend to identify AWARENESS with CELEBRUM. Then to be a product of billions of neurons firing signals here and there.There are good reasons however, to identify awareness with some other unseen entity such as the SOUL. What then is a good candidate for soul? I suggest ETHER! Why is it good to identify awareness with ether and not with the billions of firings in your neurons? One reason, I found it challenging to understand the awareness, I, was that even though there are billions of activities inside my brain, I perceive my innermost being, not as BILLIONS OF THINGS but as ONE THING which I call 'I' therefore it makes sense to identify 'I' with ETHER simply because it can be considered a single entity at least within my brain. The brain then as well as every activity in it is part and parcel of WHAT I AM AWARE OFF other than being the awareness itself. Yes, in just the same way a billiard ball is what I am aware of and not what I am. But then why the brain? One of the reason, I think, is that for awareness to be awareness, it must be an awareness of something. In this case, the brain.Consider again the activities inside your brain in the light of QUANTUM MECHANICS. Particularly, WAVE MATTER DUALITY. If matter be seen as a wave, then in what medium is it an undulation? We call it ether for a moment. So inside your head is, fundamentaly speaking, not some billions of neurons but just a single entity, ether. So is it a surprise at all that you perceive yourself as a single entity?But then thinking of reality this way, as ripples in ether, gives rise to two other questions; in what sense does it mean to say that there are say two electrons? Why would matter knock each other, ripel each other and attract each other? I mean its not possible to demonstrate that in WATER WAVES. This can be understood to some extend by attributing some mysterious intelligence and FREEWILL to the ether. With that one, everything makes sens! The billiard ball you see outside is as an undulation in ether just as the billiard ball you IMAGINE is an undulation in your neurons. So the collition of billiard balls outside is some COSMIC IMAGINATION! But then endowing ether with such brain like activities means that intelligence in your skull is now well explained!Consider this in the light of DOUBLE SLIT EXPERIMENT. How do electrons end up behaving as though the know they are being observed? Again, ether is intelligent!Now, how exactly do an electron move? In what sense do we say this is one electron and this is the other? Why don't they MERGE into a single electron? Something gotta be capable of communicating INSTANTLY at the COLAPSE OF WAVE FUNCTION. Again, this is insightfull in understanding awareness. The sense of 'oness' within despite the fact that there are many things you are aware of, you remain the only one doing the awareness for there is INSTANTANEOUS communication throughout different parts of your brain which is just similar to the COLAPS OF WAVE FUNCTION.
