yeah-don't consider the family-
This type of crime isnt something where you jsut do it and get arrested, this would have included inspections and correspondance back and forth. He chose to put those people he invited to his home at risk. The family should be learning that putting other peoples lives in unnecessary danger isnt acceptable in any society. coudlnt they have gathered outside? and not tried to stuff 80 people in a place not designed for that many people. You would think a pastor would be more concerned about the safety of his flock, and less about getting tax free status.
Misleading. This man wasn't sent to jail for holding bible studies in his home He went to jail for violating his probation for holding religious services at his property in violation of zoning and building codes. Of course Fox news has to twist it up and get people riled.
This is totally fine, the municipality isnt concerned that he is preaching, they are concerned that his residence isnt safe for gatherings of that size, or up to fire code, or that he is trying to get tax free religious status on his own home.
If he wants to have a church on his property he can, as long as it is safe for everyone to go there.
