applying a dream

After some meditation while focusing on 'third eye' region, I had a very vivid dream in which I was in a school in a certain farmiliar place. But then, as far as I knew, there was no school in that place up until then. To add insult to injury, that place is along a steep hill such that its simply unimaginable for there to be a school at such a region. I though they were the usual absurd dreams in which the setting keeps oscillating ubsurdly from one familiar scenario to another. Now, I had not visited that place for two years. One day, I went past the place and voila! A school had been build at that region!I was very sure I had become a psychic. I only needed to tell when a dream is of the above form and then I would apply dreams to solve day to day problems!:) So the problems are of the form: If I dream about a farmiliar setting, I would look for something in the dream that I have never seen in the real world and then see if I can see it when awake. One such an application was in finding my misplaced tool. I had two dreams suggesting this. One was about me seeing it placed on a branch on a certain familiar tree. I then looked for it at that tree and also some other trees nearby but in vain. Every dream suggestion were a failure! I had thought I had became a psychic, I wasn't!!!Now tell me, have you ever applied a dream?
