Animals are sacred and many are our spirit guides. Our connection to them goes way beyond the pet owner relationship that most have become accustomed to. And thus they should be cherished and protected.
It is US that need to wake up and remember our connection to them, and to Nature itself.
Living in the Now doesn't mean we cant be pro-active in creating the world WE want to live in.. And the animals have no voice. We are their voice. They depend on us to be the stewards of life that we are supposed to be.
I urge all to remember.. And speak up for those that cant..

Beautiful post 'Master of Light'... indeed, our animals are soooooooo sacred and such healers and givers of love... I hate cruelty to animals... and neglect... it's so spiritually low. One can always tell a good human being simply by the way they love and care for their pets and the creatures around them, domestic or wild... such an interaction 'gives away' a persons spirit... very telling. :)
I had a beloved Staffy for many years, a lovely red one :), he was beautiful but passed of old age 6 months ago... miss my little man sooooo much :( Had the good fortune to see him in the spirit a few times... he's running around again God bless him, having shed his arthritic physical body in his old age... he was very happy and has made some friends in the astral as well...
dear Branwen, dogs are wonderful healers,and the love that they carry in there souls is Immense,we had a small Pomerian X for many years,and passed to spirit in the past 12 years due to old age,she was 17,which is quite old in human terms,we made a beautiful plot for here,and soon after her passing,we noticed small green foliag growing on her plot,within a month we discovered they were Sun Flowers,they only were growing in the area inside her plot,and grew to over 7ft in height,they remained in full bloome for over 6 months,it was her way of showing us that she was well and happy,and was showering her love to us with the Sun Flowers,as she knew that the Central Sun is where all love and light streams from,and shared it with us,blessings eve.
