once I read a book about ball game ancient Toltecs played , based on written and archeological documents left / survived Spanish invasion and book burning(s). Fascinating game , played with what could be described as heavy 30+lbs ball. Most likely made out of rubber. with holes/baskets on apposing ends and who ever make long shots , gets more points. Its entire game was designed to flex every muscle in the body . I dont remember every detail of this game in the book but it was a good read. .................Summerian Zarathustra invented chess game , so called battle of good and evil , light against the darkness. This game was played everywhere in ancient Sumaria. .......................so , let the games begin. .......................I am very happy to know that Polish National Team won World Cup in Volleyball, it was a proud moment for former player , like me. I even went to see them play last yr and this yr , in Chicago when they played U. S. team. It was a joy to be part of it...........................
